Dearborn, Michigan "Halal Select Snacks" is the only Candy company in the USA that has a mission statement to make candy that Muslim kids can enjoy. The company was founded in 2000 based on a business plan project from Wayne State University , and shortly thereafter introduced its first product "The Halal Crispy Treats". Then later in 2004, Halal Select Snacks came out with their second product "The American Halal Marshmallows".
